After serving as Global President for 2021, Matthew English was appointed to be Global Chair of the Turnaround Management Association ("TMA") for 2022. See press release. Established in 1988, TMA has almost 10,000 members in 54 chapters worldwide, including 34 North American chapters. Members include turnaround practitioners, attorneys, accountants, advisors, liquidators, consultants, as well as academic, government employees, and members of the judiciary.  www.turnaround.org

Howard Bailey was recently selected to be President of the Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum ("BABF") for 2022. The Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum's purpose is to disseminate information, provide public service and education and promote cooperation and efficiency in the bankruptcy and insolvency fields in the greater bay area. In addition, the forum offers networking opportunities among members. www.babf.com

In 2020, Matthew English helped adapt the successful TMA restructuring bootcamp in-person class to an on-line "Zoom" format.  As the lead instructor with over 200 interested students and counting, the TMA Restructuring Bootcamp has helped turnaround practitioners and attorneys learn about the experience of a turnaround consultant during their first week at a new client from the finance, management, legal and ethics perspectives.

Howard Bailey presented to the Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum focused on techniques for valuing and selling closely held businesses in distressed situations.

In November 2018, Howard Bailey was a panelist at the Bar Association event focused on Assignments for the Benefit of Creditors.

In March 2018, Matthew English taught a class in San Francisco focused on the experience of a turnaround consultant during their first week at a new client.
